The 30-second ads, created by VCCP, carry the strapline "We don’t just say how easy it is to do – we show it".
The 15-second ads kick off tonight (Thursday). Media has been handled by ZenithOptimedia.
The ads explain how easy it can be to upload videos to www.o2learn.co.uk, which has been deliberately created to look unprofessional.
Successful videos could win up to £50,000, to be shared between the teacher and school.
Gav Thompson, founder of O2 Learn, said: "When we saw what Jamie is doing with his 'Dream School' project it made perfect sense for us to target our own advertising activity around the programme – we think we've got our own dream school with O2 Learn and it was time to shout about that and encourage more teachers and pupils to get involved."
O2 Learn is an educational initiative that benefits both teachers and children.
Teachers can upload short videos of themselves delivering lessons and pupils request help for subjects they are having difficulty with, which teachers can reply to.
