Nuts signs six-figure deal to sponsor Reality TV shows

LONDON - Lads' weekly Nuts, the IPC Media magazine, has inked a six-figure deal to be the sponsor of a selection of reality TV shows on digital channel Reality TV.

The sponsorship will include reality TV programming through the week such as 'Moronic 21st Century Idiots' and 'What Were You Thinking?' as well as the channel's most popular Saturday Zone between 6pm and 11pm, which features 'Instant Millionaires' and 'Beneath Alcatraz'.

Reality TV broadcasts on Sky Digital, Telewest Broadband and NTL and reached 4.5m viewers last month. Predominantly its viewers are in the 18- to 35-year-old male category.

"This relationship makes perfect sense," Clair Porteus, senior marketing manager for Nuts, said. "The partnership with Reality TV allows us to make an even close connection with our readers on a daily basis."

Nuts will provide opening and closing sponsorship credits, break bumpers and 30-second branded promotions on air as part of the sponsorship.

The partnership runs for six months to December 3.
