Nush pulls in punters for C4 as 1.5m vote in final eviction

LONDON - The eviction contest between 'Big Brother''s Nush and Cameron saw Channel 4's reality TV show attract almost 1.5m votes, the biggest number cast to date in the fourth series.

Nush was the clear favourite to leave the 'Big Brother' house on Friday, polling 951,512 or 66.87% of votes. Only 471,346 or 33.13% wanted the Scotsman Cameron to leave.

The 8.30pm show, where viewers found out Nush was the one to be leaving, drew an average audience of 4.9m, a 23.7% share of the available audience, peaking at 4.3m, a 21% share, according to unofficial overnights from Barb.

The 10pm show, where Nush left the 'Big Brother' house and was interviewed by Davina McCall, was watched by an average audience of 4.9m, a share of 23.7% for that time of night.

The later show peaked at 5.4m, a 26% share, just behind last Thursday's show when Steph and Ray had a bitter, tearful row, which averaged 4.8m viewers, peaking at 5.5m.

Nush has been one of the highest profile members of the show in recent weeks because of her flirting with Scott while supposedly already in a relationship. However, when she left the house on Friday her boyfriend was not there to meet her and had sold his side of the story to The Sun.

In today's paper, her ex-boyfriend Geoff told how "Big Bruv wrecked our love" in an exclusive interview where he told of his heartache.

Nush found out that she had been dumped by Geoff when someone outside the house shouted in with a megaphone.

The biggest audience for 'Big Brother 4' was the eviction of Lisa and re-entry of Jon Tickle to the house. That show drew an average of 5.5m viewers, or a 29% share, and peaked at 6.3m viewers -- a massive 35% share.
