Nunwood hires Nielsen's Wiseman for quantitative role

LONDON - Market research specialist Nunwood Consulting has poached AC Nielsen senior consultant Andrew Wiseman.

Wiseman, who handled the Allied Domecq account at AC Nielsen, joins Nunwood as an associate director leading its quantitative team. He has more than eight years of market research experience and brings additional expertise to the retail and FMCG teams

Wiseman said he was "looking forward to contributing to the future growth of the business".

"A key reason for my joining Nunwood is to help empower the business to meet its goals of client indispensability, to continue the provision of increasingly innovative business solutions and to ensure that Nunwood is a consultative expert partner to our clients," he said.

As well as the hiring of Wiseman, Nunwood has also announced three other appointments. Adam Lerner joins as a quantitative client consultant after recently completing a business studies degree; Adam Upsall joins as an IT specialist from food firm Geest, where he was a support analyst; and former Frist Media designer Mark Guymer joins as a web designer.

Clare Bruce, managing director at Nunwood Consulting, said: "Nunwood Consulting prides itself on the service that we offer our clients. Our four new team members bring with them an enviable mix of unique skills, industry experience, creativity and passion, which will further strengthen our reputation of providing market research with style and creativity.

She added: "I am sure that they will make a huge contribution to our organisation and our clients and it is a real coup to have managed to secure some of the best market research minds in the UK."

Nunwood Consulting won the BMRA Research Business Award 2003 for Best People Management (Smaller Agency). It is a finalist in the BMRA Research Business Awards 2004 in the Best Agency and Innovation categories.
