Red Bull Culture Clash 2014 featured four music crews who battled it out in four rounds of performances based on different genres of music. The competitors included Harlem rap squad A$AP Mob, grime collective Boy Better Know, Jamaican reggae act Stone Love and Rebel Sound, a collaborative made up of bass superstars Chase & Status with MC Rage, World Clash champion David Rodigan and jungle pioneer Shy Fx.

The event, produced by Smyle, was also watched by fans online via a live stream, which saw more than 250,000 votes cast to unlock surprises which enhanced the on-stage action.

Rebel Sound, which won three out of the four rounds, claimed the overall winning title, with the volume of the crowd reaching 108 decibels in a bid to vote for them.

The group dropped exclusive recorded tracks, also known as dubplates, as part of their performances on the night featuring Rihanna, Emeli Sandé and British broadcaster Trevor McDonald.
