Harris has been at the handset manufacturer since 2004 and previously worked as global marketing director at Vertu, its luxury brand.
He has held other marketing positions at 3 UK, Thomas Cook and Procter & Gamble health and beauty care.
HR Owen has given him a new role on the management board and responsibility for its 'Experience is Everything' strategy, customer service department and marketing campaigns.
He will report to chief executive Andy Duncan, who joined the luxury car firm in October 2010 after stepping down as chief executive of Channel 4.
In May the company announced it would be restructuring its departments in order aid growth and improve customer relations.
It also bought fellow luxury motor retailer Broughtons and introduced a Ferrari Atelier personalisation service at The Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge.
