When he joins in April, Nohr’s remit will include agency, client and team leadership, as well as driving growth.
Nohr will work alongside Ryan Newey, the founder and executive creative director, while the rest of the management team will report to him.
Fold7 did not previously have a chief executive.
For eight months last year, Nohr worked at the serviced-office company Regus as its global managing director, brand and membership.
Nohr left his role as the chief executive of Kitcatt Nohr – then known as Kitcatt Nohr Digitas – at the end of 2013, when the earn-out period after the agency’s sale to Publicis Groupe came to an end. Kitcatt Nohr is now part of the DigitasLBi group.
Newey said: "Marc joins Fold7 at a very exciting time as we continue our pattern of significant year-on-year growth and emerge on the top pitchlists, achieving a top-five ranking in AAR’s new-business conversion report."
Nohr said he looked forward to helping Fold7 "become a destination brand for clients and talent who share their creative ambition".
