Nivea strikes deal with Channel 4

Nivea has struck a deal with Channel 4 to buy the entire ad break

during Because You're Worth It, a documentary about the birth of the

cosmetics industry. The deal forms part of the skincare brand's 90th

birthday celebrations. Nivea will use the two-minute ad break to show a

short film called Women, showing the history of Nivea via the brand's

advertising over the years from 1911 to the present day. The film is not

product-based, but aims to show the relevance of the brand in today's

world and shows how the range has developed over the years. The ad

concludes with a tribute: 'To all the women in the world, you are

beautiful.' The programme airs today (Wednesday) at 9pm. The deal was

negotiated through Carat with TV ads by TBWA/London.
