
Pestridge has already worked for Nike in the US, as brand director for its Asia-Pacific region. Having been at Nike since 1995, Pestridge came to the UK in 2006. During his tenure, he was credited with the development of Nike's brand positioning online, including the roll-out of Nike+ and the launch of Nike PhotoiD.
It is not known who will replace Pestridge in the UK. Nike was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press.
