Night at the Museum reveals giant dinosaurs in sales drive

LONDON - Twentieth Century Fox is promoting the DVD launch of 鈥楴ight at the Museum' with six-foot animated dinosaurs, placed next to display units in selected stores.

In-store marketing agency Bezier created the campaign and has unveiled in-store merchandise, including security shrouds, bus stops, till banners, chart headers, counter top and parasite units.

London stores also feature plasma screens and Whispering Windows technology, outsourced from in-store marketers Media Zest, adding sound to the point-of-purchase displays.

Claire Pickup, retail marketing controller at Twentieth Century Fox said: "Night at the Museum has been a phenomenal success and we wanted to reflect the anticipation of the DVD launch with an exciting announcement of its arrival in-store."

Martin Fawcett, creative director at Bezier said: "By adding innovative POP such as floor graphics, Whispering Windows and 3D standees we are ensuring that the store 'comes to life', reinforcing the excitement in the film, and reflecting the wider campaign message."

Night at the Museum stars Ben Stiller and Ricky Gervais. It was released in cinemas December 2006 and is based on the 1993 novel by children's author Milan Trenc.
