Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson party in spoof EE film

EE has released an online film that imagines how David Cameron, Nigel Farage, Nicola Sturgeon and Ed Miliband might have relaxed after the seven-strong leaders' debate.

In the 90-second spot, created by Saatchi & Saatchi, the leaders of the seven main parties are relaxing in a wood-panelled room off Whitehall by competing in a karaoke rap battle to The Power by Snap!.

Lookalikes of the Green Party leader, Natalie Bennett, the Plaid Cymru leader, Leanne Wood, and the London mayor, Boris Johnson, also feature in the ad.

Spencer McHugh, the director of brand at EE, said: "The election is all-consuming and I’m sure our political leaders are feeling the strain. We decided to imagine how they might let off steam behind the scenes and, of course, remind customers how they can get the power!"

The film was created to promote the return of the Power Bars, portable chargers that are free to EE customers.
