Situated by the box office on Montpellier Gardens, the members’ lounge will operate throughout the 10-day event, which kicks off on Friday (2 October).

The space will comprise four branded zones, including a giant crossword wall that visitors can complete, a membership wall that showcases brand films, a book station which guests can peruse at their leisure, and the ‘Print Your Own Front Page’ area, where people can print their favourite The Times and The Sunday Times front pages from an archive.

The space will also include a bar and seating area, where visitors will be able to complete a smaller version of the aforementioned crossword, read a book from the book station or simply relax.

The Times deputy editor, Emma Tucker will host The Times Live event on kick-off day, where the publication's editorial team will debate current issues and discuss potential lead stories for the following day, offering audience members a behind-the-scenes look at the newspaper's day-to-day operation.

Panel sessions will address issues such as whether the UK should leave the European Union, the potential for a new cold war and the relevance of the terms ‘left’ and ‘right’ in modern politics.
