The London Property News group comprises six monthly property magazines and three weekly property newspapers. It has a combined circulation of around 430,000.
Four of the monthly magazines cover the London area while the other two cover Surrey and Cheshire. The three newspapers are all focused within London.
Warren Bright, CEO of propertyfinder.com, said: "We see London Property News as an excellent addition to the range of advertising solutions that propertyfinder.com can offer its clients. It also serves as a tremendous marketing tool for the propertyfinder.com brand."
Bright added that propertyfinder.com had been examining a broad range of branding options, and would now use the newly acquired titles to drive traffic on the website.
Realestate.com.au and News International jointly acquired PropertyFinder.com in November 2005. Since then it has increased its monthly visitors from 725,000 to 1.8m last month.
The company said the completion of the acquisition would occur in the second half of August, and maybe subject to approval by the Australian Stock Exchange.
