
Gibson, who has worked at News International for 11 years, will take up the commercial role immediately, working across The Times and The Sunday Times.
He will report to Dominic Carter, News International's trading director, who labelled Gibson an "outstanding talent".
Gibsons' previous roles include group business manager across Times Newspapers and Magazines, and group head of trading.
Reynolds, a high-profile member of News International's commercial team, as national sales director
Paul Hayes, managing director of News International commercial, heads up the commercial division.
