New win: Lego signs up license experts to push brands

Lego has taken on Start Licensing and SGLP to exploit licensing opportunities for its key brands in the UK and Europe.

Ian Downes, managing director of Start, and Simon Gresswell, founder of SGLP, will provide consultancy on the licensing market to the Danish toy manufacturer.

According to Lego vice-president of global partnership and alliance management Jill Wilfert, the move follows multimedia success with Bionicles and new girls' brand Clikits.
