Philishave, the Philips subsidiary, has launched a campaign for its
Cool Skin and Quadra Action shavers. The TV push consists of a
ten-second ad for Cool Skin and a 30-second ad incorporating both
products. The shorter 'Bath Tub' ad shows a man sitting in a bath with
his hand submerged in the water between his legs. He then lifts a
Philishave Cool Skin out of the water. The strapline is 'Searching for
pure skin pleasure?' The longer 'Room Mates' ad depicts a man walking
into the bathroom to shave while his flatmate sings in the shower. As he
rinses his shaver, his friend shrieks at the sudden temperature drop.
The strapline is 'How do you Philishave?"Bath Tub' broke on November 19
and 'Room Mates' airs from November 26. Creative is by D'Arcy and media
