'No more Mr Nice Guy' Gary Lineker spars over a chess game with heavyweight boxing titleholder Lennox Lewis in the latest TV spot for Walkers crisps. Breaking today (Wednesday), the execution, by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, promotes a new flavour of Walkers Squares called Squares Beefy. The ad starts with the pair seated either side of a chess board. Lineker tries to distract Lewis so he can sneak one of the snacks out of the packet positioned near the fighter. He fails and Lewis grabs his arm. Lewis is then able to hold him at bay while taunting him with the Squares. The ad ends with Lewis pushing Lineker's head down into his jacket, and Lewis muttering 'Bad move'. Walkers signed Lewis for the ad within two days of his historic win over Mike Tyson.
