New Jeep viral game boosts Patriot buzz

Jeep is using a viral game to create buzz around the launch of its new 2008 Jeep Patriot.

Inbox Digital has created two new levels in driving game, Jeep Big Adventure, a forest trial and an urban challenge. The aim is to give the target audience - active males with disposable incomes - a sense of the Patriot's performance in different environments.

In the new levels, players get to test a 3D version of the Jeep Patriot on a forest track and in an urban city environment. They are challenged to complete a series of tracks, collecting a number of icons in the quickest time possible. Players can re-play any of the eight tracks to improve their score. They can also choose the colour of the Jeep Patriot and multiple camera angles, featuring a 360-degree view of the vehicle. Product features are highlighted and a 'find out more' section links directly to www.jeep.com/en/2007/patriot/.

"Our audience has enjoyed putting the Jeep Patriot through its paces," said Jay Kuhnie, director, Jeep Communications.

Inbox digital built the first level of Jeep Big Adventure in July, and has staggered level launches for maximum viral impact.
