The execution, called 'Tent', is part of a £1.5m investment in the brand. It sees a bullish VW van driver ignore his wife's instructions as he reverses onto a campsite and takes out a tent's guy rope. The driver remains oblivious to the chaos he creates because he knows he has a great van.
The executions are part of VWCV's first TV campaign in two years. Last month, VWCV named Audi head of after-sales Ralph Schueler as its marketing chief. He will start the role next year and handle a marketing budget of about £2m.
