New campaign: Bacardi-Martini

George Clooney is to star in his second Martini vermouth ad campaign, which breaks in the debut episode of the second series of Channel 4's Lost on 2 May.

The ad shows the actor struggling to start the engine of his luxury motor boat. Clooney's girlfriend becomes increasingly bored, until help arrives in the form of a handsome fisherman with fuel. Clooney offers to pay him for the fuel, but the fisherman wants the case of Martini he has spied on the boat. In the final shot, Clooney is seen wandering along a beach toward a party with the case of Martini under his arm and the fisherman's dog as his companion, having preferred to part company with his girlfriend rather than the drink.
