LONDON - Visa, the credit card giant, is talking to networks about its multimillion-pound international account.

Networks line up as Visa calls statutory international review

Visa has called a statutory review, being handled through the AAR, to produce advertising to run in central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

A number of undisclosed agency networks have been approached and the review is in its early stages. The London agency of the successful network will create a campaign, which will then roll out across the regions.

The Visa business is divided into two parts. Saatchi & Saatchi handles advertising for the EU countries, and its position on the business is not affected by the review.

However it also handles Visa’s advertising in Dubai and South Africa, and will be involved in the pitch in a bid to enlarge its portion of the credit card giant’s business. Media is unaffected and remains with Mediaedge:cia.
