Netto "The Easter surprise" by Jung von Matt

The most heart-warming ad you'll watch this Easter tells the story of how the Easter bunny came of age, from a young misfit who runs away from home to a confident rabbit reunited with his family.

The campaign for German food retailer Netto Marken-Discount was created by Jung von Matt, the agency behind Edeka’s emotional Christmas ad in 2015 about a grandfather who fakes his own death. The shop enlisted production company Mill+ to craft a CG enchanted forest of woodland creatures. The result is what might happen if John Lewis made an Easter ad.
