From January 1, Glik will take responsibility for all of Nestle's in-home coffee brands, including Nescafe Original, Gold Blend, and its Cappuccino range, plus enhancers such as Coffee-Mate. He will report to beverage division managing director Fiona Kendrick.
Teare, who oversaw the Dulux brand at ICI before joining Nestle as category director for in-home coffee two years ago, is leaving for family reasons.
Under her tenure, Nescafe has refocused on a younger, 16- to 24-year-old audience.
In Marketing's Biggest Brands survey, while Nescafe was still the fourth-biggest grocery brand, sales had dropped 8.2% on the previous year.
