The survey made good reading for the NEC which hosted 13 of the 20 largest events listed.
Spring Fair, which is staged at The NEC over five days, took top position as both the busiest and largest trade exhibition, attracting over 73,000 visitors.
Issued by the Association of Event Organisers, the AEO 100 lists the top exhibitions held at venues across the UK, by both attendance and net stand space. Overall, The NEC secured 41 places in the top 100 ranked by attendance, and 42 ranked by net stand space.
