NatMags unveils ACP partnership

The National Magazine Company and Australia's leading magazine publisher, Australian Consolidated Press (ACP), have formed ACP-NatMag, a joint venture that will launch weekly magazines in the UK. The first is likely to be a UK edition of celebrity magazine NW.

In June NatMags said it was developing two weekly magazines. It is believed that one, celebrity concept Project Reveal, will be folded into a British version of NW.

ACP, which publishes 120 magazines in Australia and has a market capitalisation of A$9bn (£3.6bn), set up a UK office nine months ago, led by ex-Future Network chief operating officer Colin Morrison. He becomes chief executive of ACP-NatMag.
