Nationwide "Normandy Memorial Trust" by VCCP

To mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, Nationwide is supporting the Normandy Memorial Trust, which wants to build the first permanent British memorial to honour the thousands of soldiers who lost their lives.
The building society is fundraising in all of its 650 branches throughout June and has also set up a special text donation service. A film, created by VCCP, tells the story of the landings through black and white archive footage, set against the song The Shores of Normandy by Jim Radford, the youngest known veteran. All proceeds from the song will go towards the memorial. The work was written by Ben McCarthy and art directed by Seb Housden.
