In a visual style similar to its Olympics spot, the National Lottery has released an animated ad for Christmas celebrating how its funding has transformed the UK.

It depicts a lottery ticket blowing through the country, turning drab, run-down environments into places full of colour and activity. The ad also revisits Team GB’s success at the Rio Olympics. Dave Buchanan at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Mike Moloney at Art & Graft created the film.
