The NCTL, an agency of the Department for Education, has released a TV ad in an attempt to attract more high-quality graduates to the teaching profession.

FCB Inferno created the ad, in which a teacher begins by asking: "What does a good teacher make these days?" The spot then pans through a variety of classrooms and introduces different teachers, each of whom expounds on the difference they make to children’s lives, before one finally addresses the pay issue at the end, saying: "It’s probably more than you think." The work will run on TV, on digital banners and on video-on-demand channels for the next month.
