Nat Geo Wild launches Dog Whisperer campaign

TV channel Nat Geo Wild has created a multi-million pound campaign that launches tomorrow to promote 'Dog Whisperer'.

The programme stars celebrity "dog rehabilitator" Cesar Millan tackling pooch problems in the UK and Stateside. The latest season will begin on 8 February.

The campaign will kick off with a TV ad that breaks tomorrow. It features Cesar walking into a pub, packed full of dogs and owners who thank the animal trainer for his help.

It will appear on Sky Living, Sky1, Sky Atlantic, Animal Planet and Bio. Ads created in-house by Nat Geo Wild’s creative team will appear across national press, women's magazines, online and outdoor.

The digital campaign includes homepage takeovers and rich media formats. Ads will also run across TV listings sites and news and entertainment websites. Press titles include The Sun, the Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail.

The campaign has been planned and bought by Walker Media.

Marc Ollington, marketing director at Fox International Channels UK, said: "We're thrilled to be the home of such a hugely popular and long-running series as 'Dog Whisperer', and its first ever British episodes.

"Our far-reaching campaign reflects the appeal of the show, being playful, uplifting and wholly British in style".
