Originally billed as a one-off celebration, StrictlySW7 is being held again this year as a showcase for the venues, with the guestlist reduced from 300 to 150 people.

The format for this year’s event will be similar to 2011. Guests are divided into groups and visit each venue for one course of food. One alteration this year is that main meal at each venue will be a seated dinner rather than standing bowl food or canapés.

Admirable Crichton will design the menu at the Natural History Museum, Create is the caterer for the V&A and Payne and Gunter will provide food at the Science Museum.

Joanne Wood, events manager at the Natural History Museum, said: "We are very excited to host StrictlySW7 once again as it’s a great opportunity to showcase the three fantastic venues. We have an exceptional list of suppliers this year, ensuring that the guests will experience an unforgettable evening."
