MTV and Baywatch star goes naked for vegetarianism

LONDON - MTV US presenter and former 'Baywatch' star Traci Bingham has become the latest model/actress/presenter to strip off for animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals as it launches a new campaign to promote vegetarianism.

Dressed only in a lettuce bikini, Bingham posed in front of a poster of herself naked, that features the words "All animals have the same parts. Have a heart, go vegetarian".

The campaign was launched outside Rules restaurant in Covent Garden, London's oldest meat restaurant.

The campaign, which will also run in the US, was shot in Hollywood by the photographer Robert Sebree.

Bingham said: "By exposing myself, I hope to expose others to the many benefits of a vegetarian diet."

Peta has used celebrities such as Naomi Campbell in anti-fur campaigns. However, while the "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" campaign made headlines around the world, it rather backfired when Campbell later appeared on catwalks wearing fur.
