MPs call for BBC to take Jeremy Clarkson off-air after calling PM 'one-eyed idiot'

Scottish politicians have called for Clarkson, who made the comment in Australia at a live stage version of 'Top Gear', to be taken off the air until he apologises for his comments.

The remark that particularly drew their ire was: "We've got this one-eyed Scottish idiot, he keeps telling us everything's fine and he's saved the world, and we know he's lying."

This latest controversy, which is sure to be dubbed "Eyegate", comes just three months after .
