Wills, who was the head of new-business development at Naked after joining the agency in its first year, will move to MPG in July.
His role at MPG is to work with all teams across the agency to weave communications strategies into all activity. He will also work alongside sister Havas agencies and other agency partners in an attempt to provide integrated communications ideas.
Wills, who spent four years at Saatchi & Saatchi before joining Naked, had worked on Naked accounts including COI Communications and Super Noodles.
More recently, he worked on the Orange and Air Miles business and was promoted to his current role last September when Naked introduced a formal structure under the managing director, Tracy Darwen.
He said: "MPG already has a strong strategic planning track record. It has great people, a clear direction, and I am excited about my role in building on the success already achieved this year."
Wills will work as part of MPG's senior planning team, under the leadership of the joint managing director Marie Oldham.
Marc Mendoza, the chief executive of MPG, said: "This is an additional role to beef up our resource. For us, it's a real coup to get Craig. He's one of the founding members of Naked and has grown up with them."
