Moving on up: Appointment at D&AD

Simon Waterfall, creative director of digital agency Poke, is set to become the youngest-ever president of the D&AD.

He will also become the first representative of a digital agency to lead the body, which aims to stimulate the highest creative standards in both advertising and design. Waterfall will take over from the current president, Tony Davidson, joint creative director at Wieden & Kennedy, when his term of office expires in September 2007.
