Movers and shakers: Partners Andrew Aldridge, Dune, Guardian, Unruly, and more

Steve Aldridge: exits Partners Andrew Aldridge

Steve Aldridge is leaving Partners Andrew Aldridge. Aldridge co-founded the agency 18 years ago, and held the roles of chairman and creative partner. He intends to launch or support a start-up agency after a one-year gardening leave period, which begins on 16 June.

Jason Trout, the former UK managing director of Exponential, has been appointed to the role of managing director for EMEA at Unruly. He will be based in the News Corp-owned company's London headquarters and report to Sarah Wood, chief executive of Unruly. Trout replaces Oliver Smith, who has relocated from London to Los Angeles to head up Unruly's expansion across the US west coast.

Tanya Joseph has joined media brand The Pool as chair. She will work with chief executive Sam Baker, broadcast director Lauren Laverne and chief commercial officer Jo Morrell to develop the brand’s offering. Joseph was formerly the director of business partnerships at Sport England, and engineered the "This girl can" campaign.

ESI Media has appointed The Telegraph's Leigh Fergus to the newly created role of managing director of ESI Live. She starts in June and will report to Jon O'Donnell, the managing director of ESI Commercial.

Alexis Williams has been hired by the Guardian as head of fashion sales, reporting to Natasha Murray, director of client partnerships, Guardian news and media. Williams joins from the Financial Times where he was head of life and arts.

Patrick Reid has been promoted to the post of group chief executive, Imagination. The former chief executive will combine his new role with his existing responsibilities in leading EMEA and will report to the group's board of directors.

Ben Da Costa has been hired as creative director at Above + Beyond. Currently senior digital creative at CHI & Partners, Da Costa takes up his new position in August. Also joining the agency is Nathalie Gordon, previously a senior creative at Sunshine. They will both report to David Billing, the executive creative director.

Digital Cinema Media has hired Neil Pummell from Exterion Media, as the cinema ad sales house's first head of client. Pummell was with Exterion for 12 years and was most recently head of product. 

The Dune Group has appointed Rob Silsbury to the newly created role of ecommerce and marketing director. He joins from Ralph Lauren, where he was senior director of marketing, ecommerce, and senior vice president, digital and ecommerce, on an interim basis. He will report to John Egan, the chief executive.

Greg Allum has joined Jellyfish as head of social media. He was previously head of social media and creative strategy at Sony Electronics, where he worked on the "Bravia" TV ads. Allum will report to Nick Fettiplace, global head of earned media, and Daniel Wilkinson, global head of paid media, Jellyfish.

Buzzoole, the influencer marketing platform, has announced the appointment of Ian Samuel to the role of chief commercial officer. He will report directly into Fabrizio Perrone, the co-founder and chief executive. Samuel joins from Brave Bison, where he was chief commercial officer.

KHWS, the brand commerce agency, has appointed Gary Brooks as creative director. He was previously a creative consultant, and before that a creative director at WDMP. Brookes will report to KHWS founding partners Andrew Watts, Mark Skelton and Nick Hawkes.

Manoj Goya has been named chief product officer at marketing software company Marketo, reporting to Steve Lucas, the chief executive officer.

Creative agency Space has appointed Paul Cope as business director, responsible for a portfolio of its clients including Heineken and Arla Foods. He will report into David Atkinson, the managing partner.
