Audi is on the hunt for a new UK marketing director. The previous incumbent Nick Ratcliffe joined Jaguar Land Rover to take up the role of director global marketing, sales & service – special operations.

Steve Hatch, the UK & Ireland regional director at Facebook, has been promoted to managing director for northern Europe. Facebook appointed Hatch to the high profile UK job in 2013, and joined the company the following year after more than six years at MEC, the Group M agency.

The Marketing Society has named global managing director Gemma Greaves as its next chief executive. The move follows the decision of current chief executive Hugh Burkitt to step down after 13 years and take on an ambassadorial role for the organisation. The changes will take effect from 1 January 2017.

Waitrose marketing director Rupert Thomas will become the supermarket's commercial director next February after the incumbent, Mark Williamson, steps down. Thomas’ successor as marketing director is yet to be announced. Williamson, meanwhile, will stay involved with the business as chair of Waitrose’s farm, the Leckford Estate.

BBH London has hired Ray Chan and Simon Cenamor, the multi award-winning creative team behind the "This girl can" campaign for Sport England, from FCB Inferno. During their time at the agency, the duo also created work for clients including NSPCC and Sky.

Chan and Cenamor started their careers at Leith London, then following stints at several other London agencies, joined FCB Inferno where they spent the last four years.

Sara Tate, the managing director of Mother London, is stepping down from the post after deciding not to return to the agency from her period of maternity leave. Tate joined Mother from Bartle Bogle Hegarty in 2007 as strategy director, working specifically across the agency’s Coca-Cola brands. She moved on to head new business and marketing before being promoted to the newly-created role of managing director in 2013.

Marks & Spencer's head of multichannel, Laura Wade-Gery, is to leave after five years. The company announced that she would not be returning to her position after her maternity leave concludes at the end of September.

Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, executive director of marketing will continue to oversee M&S.com. Helen Weir, the company’s chief financial officer, will continue to manage logistics, and Sacha Berendji, director of retail, will manage bricks and mortar stores after Wade-Gery's departure.

Quiet Storm has appointed Tanya Faulkner to join the board as client service director. Faulkner joins from Publicis where she has held both client service director and commercial director roles.

Tribal Worldwide, London has appointed Andrew Liles to the role of director of technology, while Marie Bradley will head up business analysis – a new role and discipline within the agency.

Liles joins from DigitasLBi where he held various positions over the past 16 years, most recently leading the Helios programme to deliver 300-plus country websites for Renault, Nissan & Infiniti as global technical director.

Bradley, the former head of product development at QA Training, will be responsible for establishing business analysis as an intrinsic offering within digital transformation and change projects for Tribal’s clients. Before joining QA Training, Bradley was head of solution definition at Wunderman.

Leeds-based integrated agency, ilk, has made three appointments to its creative team, in a bid to enhance its reputation across graphic design, animation and branding. Ben Gardner and Ryan Spence join ilk’s studio team as senior designers, while Hayley Collingswood joins as creative account manager.

Digital invention company FATUnicorn has appointed former Wasserman country director Dan Staples to the newly-created role of agency director. Staples is the latest in a series of appointments, which included the addition of Sledge’s Daniella Saleh as account manager earlier this year.

Integrated agency Mercieca has hired Sameer Ahmed to join its growing social media team. Formerly at The Earned Agency and Communicator, Ahmed has five years of social experience. He will work as part of Mercieca’s client services team across brands including Tia Maria, Sellotape and Brooks Sports.

Digital media group Purch has appointed William Jones and Clare Delaney as directors of business development, based out of its new London office. Delaney was previously sales director UK for ad pepper media, and before this spent time at CBS Interactive and media companies including IPC Media, Future Plc, Crimson Publishing, the Guardian and Independent. Jones previously held sales directorship roles at CBS Interactive and Adikteev.
