Jones joins from ZenithOptimedia Worldwide, where he has been the worldwide research director for the past seven-and-a-half years. At Carat, he will play a key research role with the agency's global clients including Vodafone, Renault, Philips and Pernod Ricard.
Based in London, Jones will report to Susannah Outfin, the chief executive of Carat International. His appointment follows the departure of Phil Gullen, who left the company after 13 years to develop other business interests.
