Steve Matthews has joined the Royal College of Surgeons as its new general manger.
Matthews has been in the hospitality and events industry for the past 20 years, having worked for Marriott hotels, Leith’s and now Ampersand.
Ampersand is the venue’s sole catering partner.
He joins from The Law Society on Chancery Lane where he led the catering team, and was in charge of The Six Clerks Restaurant and Bar, The Reading Room and a staff restaurant for 250.
