Mother unveils new Frank anti-cannabis ad

Mother is launching its latest FRANK campaign for The Department of Health, aimed at deterring people from using cannabis.

The ad, which breaks tonight, goes inside the mind of a cannabis user, Simon, who is holding a party.

Clones of Simon begin arriving, each displaying a different side effect of taking the drug such as giggles, panic attacks and munchies.

A voiceover which explains: "the more you mess with cannabis, the more it can mess with your mind", ends the spot, along with text explaining that cannabis has been reclassified as a class B drug.

A website, www.talktofrank.com/cannabis, created by Profero, supports the TV campaign. The microsite invites users into a party where they are encouraged to have a drag on a spliff so that they can experience how cannabis can mess with your mind.
