Revenues in November and December for national are forecast to be down 12%.

Digital revenues were up 23%, with the full year expected to be up by a similar amount.

STV-owned cinema sales house, Pearl & Dean's revenues were down 11%, although November and December is expected to be up 28% after winning the Showcase cinema contract, which boosted its market share by a third to 34%.

STV predicts a stronger performance for regional sales across 2009, as that is an area not constrained by CRR. However, national airtime sales are likely to remain tough, with the whole market down 6%.

The group has also reshuffled its senior management team, appointing Anmar Kawash, previously director of strategy and planning, to the role of chief operating officer.
