'Britain's Favourite View' will feature former news presenter Sir Trevor McDonald travelling around the UK in a celebration of the diversity and splendour of the British Isles.
In 'Robbie Coltrane: B-Road Britain', the former 'Cracker' actor will shun busy motorways in favour of winding B-roads in a classic 1950s car, to uncover the places that define Britain.
The sponsorship deal, negotiated by ITV Customer Relations and Manning Gottlieb OMD, includes broadcast, online and mobile interactive bumpers.
Haydn Davies, general manager at Mitsubishi, said: "We believe that this sponsorship opportunity will reinforce the relationship between our 4x4 vehicles and the countryside even further."
Separately, ITV Customer Relations has struck a sponsorship deal with The Mall, the shopping centre operator, to sponsor ITV1's 'All Star Family Fortunes'.
In another agreement, Douwe Egberts instant coffee has bought a homepage takeover of ITV-owned website Friends Reunited.
