The decision ends a global review of Zurich's media requirements called at the end of January, which included incumbent Zed Media and another undisclosed agency.

The process has been led out of Switzerland, with heavy involvement from Zurich's six key international markets - the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the US.

The business has been held by ZenithOptimedia since 2004, when Zurich consolidated its separate media and advertising accounts into Publicis Groupe sibling agencies Zed and Publicis, respectively.
