Dyson has appointed Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy, its first
advertising agency, as it gears up for a major campaign next year.
Miles Calcraft has drafted in David Abbott to work on the pounds 6
million brief, reflecting the importance of the task to the agency.
Abbott will work closely with Paul Briginshaw and Malcolm Duffy, the
agency’s two creative directors, in collaboration with Dyson’s in-house
creatives.
The company is gearing up for a major advertising push across all media
which is planned for next year.
Industry rumours suggest that Dyson, famous for its vacuum cleaners, has
plans to move into the white goods market.
The company’s media planning and buying account is held by Walker
Media.
Dyson confirmed the appointment, but refused to comment any further.
