Migraine tablets unveil fresh look

LONDON - GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has revamped the branding of its Imigran Recovery migraine treatment to signal its switch from a prescription drug to over the counter.

Called Imigran Recovery to emphasise GSK's claim that a single tablet, if taken early enough, can lead to complete recovery from migraine in two hours, it began its global roll-out in June.

The packs, by Brandhouse WTS, use soothing shades of blue. The image of an open door is suggestive of 'escaping into the light' from the 'darkness' of a migraine.

The product name is embossed to give it a premium feel. The two-tablet packs are priced 拢7.99.
