Microsoft has launched a campaign to generate excitement ahead of its new console launch. Crispin Porter & Bogusky’s Colorado office created the TV spot to promote the Xbox One, which hits shops in the UK and the US in November. The ad is being aired globally and features the Liverpool football player Steven Gerrard and Zachary Quinto, who appears as Star Trek’s Mr Spock. Throughout the spot, Gerrard, Quinto and other characters invite people to join them in their adventures. The work was written by Waldemar Wegelin, art directed by Robbin Ingvarsson and directed by Bryan Buckley through Hungry Man.
