Microsoft sponsors Xfm's personal radio

GCap Media's Xfm is launching a personal radio service that will enable users to create and personalise their own station with music tracks taken from the station's library.

Sponsored by Microsoft's new Xbox 360 and launching this Friday, Mi-Xfm has been created by GCap's new-media team in a bid to enhance interactivity of the Xfm brand.

At the time of launch, the service will include four different music genres for users: Xfm Chill, a collection of ballads and laid-back tunes; Xfm Loud, a more energetic selection; Xfm X-list, classic tracks; and Xfm Hits, the latest hits being played on the station. The sponsorship deal will run for two months.
