From 6 October, six stations on the Underground network will trial specially designed recycling bins featuring both the Metro and London Underground logos, along with the slogan "Recycle your newspaper here".

Associated Newspapers Free Division, which publishes Metro, has already shown its commitment to recycling with a number of initiatives including newspaper recycling bins in Westminster, advertising campaigns and in-paper messaging.

The six locations chosen for the trial are Watford, West Ruislip, Stanmore, Cockfosters, Hainault and High Barnet.
