Metro Broadcast hires new creative lead

Event production company Metro Broadcast has announced Helen Smith has joined the company as creative lead.

Smith, who worked for events agency Event Concept for eight years, has experience in concept development and creative design. Metro Broadcast said these skills will strengthen the company’s current technical and project management offering.

The role will see Smith work closely with director of business development Liz Rice to deliver a range of national and international corporate events.

Mary Metcalfe, managing director of Metro Broadcast, said: "We’ve seen a significant increase in tenders from corporate brands which require more creative treatment. 

"To fully complement a robust technical proposition, we want to equally demonstrate a strong creative approach to delivering effective, live communications for corporate brands. Helen’s skills will add a new dimension to our production proposals and we’re extremely pleased she has taken up this new role."
