Five agencies have picked up trophies at the inaugural Meta Agency Awards, revealed at a celebratory evening in London this week. OMD and Assembly both won two prizes, while Havas, T&Pm and Open Partners scooped one each.
The winners were victorious from among more than 230 entries.
The evening’s host,presenter and Love Island contestant Josh Denzel, entertained the 170-plus people who gathered to recognise the winners - along with a lively Kahoot quiz. Meta’s director of UK agencies & head of connection planning EMEA Ian Edwards also put in a crowd-pleasing star-turn on stage.
The free-to-enter competition, run in partnership with ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 and Performance Marketing World, is part of Meta’s Agency Growth Sessions program, and was set up to award and recognise agencies’ outstanding work on the Meta platform.
Along with taking home the glory and the trophies, the winners will each feature in an article in both ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 and Performance Marketing World.
The judges were an independent panel of industry experts: Helen Mussard, chief marketing offer, IAB Europe; Stephen Woodford, chief executive, Advertising Association; Bobi Carley, head of media, ISBA; Rachel Aldighieri, managing director, DMA; Leila Siddiqi, director, diversity & inclusion, IPA; Lucy Shelley, tech editor, ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 and Jyoti Rambhai, premium content editor, PMW.
To be eligible, work had to run between September 1, 2023 and November 1, 2024.
