
The past year has been another great one for the Event brand, with both the print and online versions reaching new heights, more successful live events including another sold-out Event Awards ceremony at the Roundhouse, and a new format edition of The Guide.
A few notable moments from 2011 include:
The launch of the Fab 50 in March – a celebration of the top 50 companies to work for in the event industry.
The introduction of the London 2012 Olympic Houses and events map in June – an interactive guide detailing the locations of International Olympic Committees’ Olympic fan houses, Olympic venues and details of the torch relay.
The publication of the Capital of Cool London in 2012 supplement in August, providing an insight into venue availability during the Games.
Features on some of the globe’s best brands including Red Bull, Google, Vodafone and Cadbury.
The inaugural Guide Live Out of London event at Alton Towers in September, boosting our portfolio of Guide Live events to three.
The launch of the Brand Event Awards in November, held in association with our sister publication Marketing to celebrate the event marketing strategies of the world's biggest brands.
